Aldbrough St John is a delightful village in North Yorkshire with a village hall that can be hired and an annual festival called the Feast. 

 

The village has several village greens totalling approximately 14 acres, the largest being low green which is bordered by the beck that runs through the village, low green also houses the cricket pitch and pavilion, the children's play park and a football pitch, it is also used for the gymkhana during Aldbrough Feast. 

High green is across the main road from low green and houses the quoits pitch, high green is the location for Murphy's fun fair during Aldbrough Feast. High green also hosts the Zetland Hunt Meet on Boxing Day.
